A former Hortonville resident was sentenced Friday to three years in state prison in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court. According to court records, 36-year-old Jason R. Mitchell will serve 18 months in state prison, followed by 18 months of extended supervision after being convicted of an OWI, his fourth in five years, stemming from an incident that occurred in September 2015. Mitchell pleaded no contest to the charge in February 2016. It was also determined that 234 days sentence credit are due pursuant to Wisconsin statutes.
Mitchell also has his license revoked for 30 months with an ignition interlock also for 30 months. Mitchell is currently in the Outagamie Co. Jail in Appleton.
