In Portage County, a 62 year old man died Saturday night in a one vehicle rollover in the Town of Alban. The sheriff’s office says the man was operating a pick-up on Saumer Road when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled over. Authorities say the victim was wearing a seatbelt, but despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released, as the investigation continues.
Another traffic-related death…… this one from last Wednesday night in Grand Chute, when a pedestrian was hit by a car in the area of West Prospect Avenue and Northern Road. 27 year old Megan Rogers died Sunday from her injuries at a Fox Valley hospital. Police there are still searching for the driver of the car that hit Rogers.
