A Clintonville man is free on a 1000 dollar signature bond following multiple charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 36 year old Anthony R. McMillin faces felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, take and drive a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, and bail jumping, along with misdemeanor counts of resisting and drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint alleges McMillin took a vehicle without permission from a Clintonville residence Wednesday. He was found in the vehicle a short time later at a Clintonville convenience store. The complaint alleges he fled on foot from the officer as he was being handcuffed. The officer was able to use his taser to bring McMillin under control. The complaint alleges officers found meth on McMillin. The bail jumping count stems from bond conditions on drug charges from Shawano County in 2016. On the latest charges, he could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. McMillin is due back in court next Tuesday.
