A Clintonville area woman has now been charged in the death of her brother in a fire in the Outagamie County Town of Deer Creek last week. 27 year old Dana Nachtrab faces counts of first degree reckless homicide, arson, and bail jumping. The complaint says Nachtrab told police she had threatened to set the house on fire due to stress from recent family issues, including being the caregiver for her disabled brother, Cody. The 23 year old died in last Monday night’s fire. Nachtrab allegedly told police she had a fire going in the backyard, and used a sock or glove to ignite some paper in a bedroom in the house. She and her husband then tried to put the fire out, but it got out of control. Nachtrab got her 2-year old child out safely, but her husband was unable to get Cody out of the home. Dana Nachtrab faces more than 100 years in prison if convicted. She makes her initial appearance in Outagamie County Court next Tuesday.
