The names of the two people involved in an accident that killed a Waupaca man in the Town of Farmington Friday night have been released. According to a report from the Waupaca Co. Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, the department received a report of a pedestrian, later identified as 55-year-old Daniel Yonke of Waupaca, walking in the middle of the road on State 54, East of County Trunk Q. Two minutes later, another caller reported that Yonke had been struck by an eastbound SUV. The driver of the SUV has been identified as 17-year-old Christina Van Buskirk of Waupaca. Van Buskirk was not injured. Responding deputies and Gold Cross Ambulance personnel attempted to resuscitate Yonke, but were unsuccessful. The Waupaca Co.
