Waupcaca’s Zander Neuville is taking a crash course in learning the tight end position for the Wisconsin Badgers. Neuville, a 2014 Waupaca High School graduate, got his first on-field work as a tight end Monday, with starter Troy Fumagalli nursing an arm injury. Two other Badger tight ends are also struggling with injuries, so coach Paul Chryst turned to Neuville to fill the void. Neuville is a 6-foot 5-inch defensive end, but did play some at receiver and tight end for the Comets during his high school days. The Badgers have a little less than two weeks to get Neuville ready….. they play LSU at Lambeau Field on September 3rd.
