Two new alcohol-related cases have been filed in Waupaca County Circuit Court this week. 44 year old Dawn M. Green of Clintonville is charged with 4th offense operating while intoxicated, along with a count of operating while revoked. The criminal complaint says she was pulled over Saturday night in the Town of Matteson, driving with an alleged alcohol concentration of .135 percent. Green has three prior drunk driving convictions dating back to 2004. If convicted on the latest charge, she could face up to 6 years in prison. Green was ordered held on a 5000 dollar cash bond. She is due back in court on the 19th.
Meanwhile, 58 year old Michael D. Dayton of Wisconsin Rapids is charged with felony bail jumping. Dayton in mid-February was charged with his 7th drunk driving offense. He was released after posting a 5000 dollar cash bond, with the requirement that he abide by the Soberlink Monitoring Program. The new complaint alleges he tested positive for alcohol on multiple tests last week. A Waupaca County judge has issued a warrant for his arrest, and Dayton faces up to 6 years in prison if convicted on the bail jumping count.
