Charges have been filed in Waupaca County against a second woman allegedly involved in a plot to kill another person. 32 year old Darlene M. Norkett faces charges of solicitation of first degree intentional homicide, and conspiracy to commit 1st degree homicide. 45 year old Alison Roe was charged late last week with a count of attempt to commit 1st degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime. The two are alleged to have exchanged numerous text and facebook messages, with threats to kill family members and friends of Norkett. The alleged threats came to light last Thursday night when one of the alleged potential targets talked to a sheriff’s deputy who was tending to a traffic accident near the targets residence. An arrest warrant has been issued for Norkett, who is believed to be out of state currently. Roe was arrested and is being held on a 25-hundred dollar cash bond. Both face up to 60 years behind bars if convicted. Roe, who is due back in court tomorrow, was acquitted in late January of the stabbing death of a Fremont man in March of 2015.
