A Waupaca man is being held on a 5000 dollar cash bond following multiple charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 36 year old Joey M. Passarella faces a felony count of failure to comply with officers attempt to take a person into custody, along with misdemeanor counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated, and battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse. The complaint sheriff’s deputies were called to a Town of Dayton residence in late September, where Passarella had an alleged altercation with a 33 year old female. The complaint says an allegedly intoxicated Passarella fled on foot with a 9 mm handgun when officers loudly announced their presence. The complaint also says Passarella left the state after fleeing that scene, but did come back to turn himself in. If convicted, he could face up to 3 and a half years in prison. He’s due back in court next Tuesday.
