A Pennsylvania man is due in Waupaca County Circuit Court later this month after allegedly fleeing an accident in Manawa earlier this year. 42 year old Aziz Murodov (AH-ZEES MURR-OH-DOUV) faces a felony count of hit and run involving injury. The criminal complaint says Murodov was the driver of a semi that allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign on Pine Street in Manawa in early February, and struck a vehicle driven by a Manawa man. The complaint says the two exchanged words at the scene, with Murodov allegedly saying “So sue me.” The Manawa man was able to get the license plate of the semi, and authorities traced it to a company in Philadelphia. The Manawa man was treated for injuries at ThedaCare– New London Hospital. Murodov could face up to 9 months in jail and 10-thousand dollars in fines if convicted. He is due in court October 29th.
