A Marshfield man will serve time in state prison following sentencing in Waupaca County Circuit Court on a probation revocation. 27 year old Charles A. Williams entered into a deferred prosecution agreement in May 2019 on a charge of possession of heroin with intent to deliver. At that same time he entered no contest pleas to carrying a concealed weapon and resisting, and was placed on probation for two years. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop in the Town of Weyauwega in May 2018 in which officers found 150 doses of heroin and a handgun. Court records indicate Williams failed to abide by rules of his probation, so this week he was sentenced to serve two years in prison, and three years extended supervision upon his release.
