Two people were injured in separate accidents over the weekend in Waupaca County. The sheriff’s office says 77 year old James L. Snodgrass of New London suffered serious injuries when he crashed on his motorcycle Friday afternoon. Authorities say Snodgrass was eastbound on State Hiway 161 in the Town of Union on motorcycle when he lost control on a curve and crashed at the intersection with Flater Road. He was taken by ambulance to ThedaCare–New London Hospital. In the other crash, a Tigerton man was hurt in the Town of Harrison Sunday night. The sheriff’s office says a 16 year old Tigerton girl was driving southbound on Mud Lake Road just after 10:30 when she failed to negotiate a curve and rolled in the ditch. A passenger in the car, 24 year old Jordan Reinke, was partially ejected during the rollover. He was transported for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The 16 year old driver was cited for operating while intoxicated, failure to maintain control, and allowing an open intoxicant.
