Manawa Police says the doors to schools in that community will remain locked during the daytime for the rest of the school year following threats on social media and in conversations at school. Authorities say the threats were reported to administrators Thursday, and police got involved. Police Chief Jim Gorman says five students were invovled, and already one arrest has been made, and the others have been suspended for the rest of the year. Police officers in the schools will be letting people in the doors, and the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department has added extra patrols around the schools. School officials say graduation will go on tonight, with extra officers on duty for security purposes.
