The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King is slated for multiple building and renovation projects over the next few years. Already underway are improvements to the Veteran’s Cemetery, including the building of a new administration center, the addition of a new grave locator kiosk, and accessible visitor restrooms. This fall will see the beginning of construction work on the new John R. Moses Hall, 1 192-bed, 24-hour skilled nursing facility, including dementia care. That’s being build on the southwest side of the Veteran’s Home campus. It’s slated for opening in 2021. Other work being done at the home includes new landscaping around the Marden Center, improvements to the water system, electrical uupgrades, and a renovated food service. The price tag on the projects exceeds 100-million dollars.
