A Waupaca area woman who was recently acquitted of homicide, is back in jail facing a murder conspiracy charge. 45 year old Alison Roe was arrested earlier this week following a traffic accident. During investigation of the accident, deputies arrested Roe on a charge of conspiracy to commit first degree intentional homicide, and that charge was filed against her officially Friday afternoon by the district attorney’s office. The complaint alleges Roe, using social media, conspired with a woman from out of state, to attempt to have another person killed. An extradition warrant is being sought to have that other woman brought to Waupaca County. In court Friday, Roe was ordered held on a 25-hundred dollar cash bond. In late January, a jury found her not guilty in the stabbing death of Craig Dake in March of 2015.
