A nearly 2-year old murder case is going to trial next week. 44 year old Allison Roe is charged with 1st degree intentional homicide in the stabbing death of 43 year old Craig Dake in Fremont in March 2015. Roe is alleged to have stabbed Dake during an argument that turned physical. Roe allegedly told detectives that Dake had punched her in the mouth, choked her with his hands, and then put her in a chokehold face down on a bed. She then is alleged to have grabbed a knife off a nightstand and stabbed him in the chest. Roe has been jailed on a 1 million dollar cash bond since her arrest. The trial is slated to begin next Friday.
