The Waupaca County Board this morning gave unanimous approval to salary increases for some county elected officials. On a vote of 23 to nothing the board approved raising the total compensation package for county clerk, treasurer, and register of deeds to 75-thousand dollars annually for 2021. The increase to the compensation package is 3 and a half percent. The compensation for those positions will increase, then, 2 percent in 2022, 1 percent in 2023, and one percent in 2024, to an annual sum of 78,037 dollars for 2024. The compensation for those elected positions is re-evaluated every four years.
