An criminal complaint has been issued in Waupaca County Court against an Appleton man, charging him with forgery as a repeat offender. 19 year old Dominic M. Schuelke also faces a misdemeanor theft count. The complaint alleges Schuelke stole a checkbook and a small amount of cash from a relative, then forged that relative’s name on two checks to himself for a total of 12-hundred dollars. Because of the repeater provision, he could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Schuelke is due in court May 30th.
