A $5,000 signature bond has been set for an Oshkosh man in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court. According to the criminal complaint, 49-year-old Jeffrey L. Schertzl faces one felony count of Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, 7th Offense, and one misdemeanor count of Operating a Motor Vehicle while Revoked. Schertzl was stopped by a Waupaca Co. Sheriff’s officer on New Year’s Eve in the Town of Fremont after it was reported Schertzl was weaving on the road and was operating with a loud exhaust. After performing a breath test, Schertzl had a breath alcohol reading of .092, more than four times Schertzl’s restricted limit. If convicted, Schertzl faces up to 11 years in prison. He is due back in court on January 17th.
