A criminal complaint has been issued in Waupaca County Court against a Waupaca man charging him with a felony count of strangulation and suffocation. 48 year old Perry R. Stocks also faces misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property. All are charged as acts of domestic abuse. The complaint alleges Stocks attempted to suffocate a female with a pillow in the Town of Dayton earlier this month. He is also alleged to have cut the woman in the arm with a knife, and did damage to a door. If convicted, Stocks faces up to 6 years in prison. He makes his initial court appearance on the charges January 3rd.
