An arrest warrant has been issued through Waupaca County Circuit Court for a Suring woman in a stabbing incident from 2015. 44 year old Destinee M. Lyons is charged with attempted first degree reckless homicide and aggravated battery–intending great bodily harm, in the stabbing of a 37 year old man in February of that year in Marion. The man suffered stab wounds to the shoulder and chest. The complaint says both Lyons and the victim initially told authorities that the victim had been depressed and stabbed himself. The complaint says doctors told authorities that was nearly impossible considering how the wounds were inflicted. The victim, and a child witness, then allegedly told authorities that Lyons stabbed the man after both had been drinking. If convicted, Lyons could face up to 45 years in prison.
