Sentencing is set for January 10th for a Clintonville man convicted of killing three people while driving under the influence of a controlled substance. 20 year old Ryan Swadner entered a no contest plea to the charge in Shawano County Court Wednesday, as well as a count of causing injury while driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Swadner was the driver of a vehicle that hit an SUV in the Town of Belle Plaine in October of 2014 while trying to go around another vehicle. All three teenage passengers in Swadner’s vehicle were killed. Police said Swadner was on his way to a drug deal at the time of the crash. He faces up to 30 years in prison when sentenced.
