A criminal complaint has been issued in Waupaca County Court against a New London man who is alleged to have started another man on fire. 24 year old Nicholas B. Teasdale is charged with three felony counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety, along with a misdemeanor a battery charge. The complaint alleges early Sunday morning Teasdale threw gas on three people in a residence they share, then lit one of them on fire. The man was able to run outside and strip his burning cloths off, but not before suffering first and second degree burns. He is being treated at ThedaCare–New London Hospital. The man also allegedly threatened to start the other two people on fire. If convicted, Teasdale could face over 30 years in prison. No initial appearance date in the case has yet been set.
