A teenager arrested following a bomb threat Dec. 18 at Stevens Point Area Senior High was formally charged Monday. 17 year old Keenan Alderman faces multiple charges in Portage County Court, including terrorist threats, bomb scare, and bail jumping. The criminal complaint alleges Alderman used a burner phone to call in a bomb threat at to the high school. Police used an application that allowed them to send a message to the number that called the school. They traced the number to a local fast food restaurant where they found Alderman and two other students. The complaint says Alderman told police he was not intending to harm anyone, but was just trying to get a day off of from school. He remains in jail on a $25,000 cash bond. His next court date is set for January 21st.
