A teenager is in custody for allegedly making threats against Waupaca High School. The 17 year old boy was arrested Sunday afternoon on a charge of terrorist threats. He is expected for a bond hearing in Waupaca County Court this afternoon. No criminal complaint has yet been filed. Authorities had extra security on hand at the school complex this morning as students arrived. District Administrator Ron Saari, in a letter to parents Monday, said the district had become aware of a student making statements regarding a potential threat to the school’s safety.
