A third man is now in custody in the death of an Illinois man near Marion Sunday night. The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office says they are recommending a negligent homicide charge against the 60 year old Marion man. Two men, from Clintonville and New London, were arrested on similar charges Monday. The 44 year old Illinois man was killed when he was struck in the torso by shrapnel from a homemade explosive device that exploded inside some metal tubing. He died at the scene, at a residence on County Highway “S” near Marion. None of the men have yet been formally charged in the incident.
