A THIRD PERSON HAS THROWN HIS HAT IN THE RING IN THE RACE FOR A WAUPACA CO. JUDGESHIP

Attorney Dennis Krueger filed his nomination papers with the state elections commission Tuesday afternoon, prior to the 5pm deadline. Krueger, a Green Lake resident, is currently a Deputy District Attorney in Fond du Lac Co., and has previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney General under Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen. Krueger joins attorneys Troy Nielson of Scandinavia and Eric Hendrickson of Waupaca in seeking the seat that is currently held by retiring Judge Phillip Kirk. According to the state elections commission, Krueger’s ballot status is still pending approval of a qualifying number of signatures on his candidacy papers.
