A New London man, currently serving time in prison, is facing multiple drug charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 28 year old Cody R. Thompson is charged with felony counts of possession of amphetamines with intent to deliver, 2nd offense possession of marijuana, and neglecting a child, along with a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia count. The complaint alleges New London Police found quantities of meth and pot in Thompson’s residence during a warrant arrest in February. The complaint says the meth was within the reach of a 3-year old child in the residence. If convicted, Thompson could face up to 20 years in prison. He is currently serving an 18-month prison term on a probation revocation in Outagamie County. That stems from a felony bail jumping conviction related to a charge of domestic abuse.
