Three area men are facing charges for allegedly running a drug house in the city of Waupaca. 52 year old Todd A. Ibe of Waupaca, 52 year old James J. Mortenson of Waupaca, and 39 year old John W. Cain III (the third) all face a felony count of maintaining a drug trafficking place, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint alleges the three were engaged in various drug activity including marijuana and methamphetimine in February and March of this year at a home on North State Street. Police are alleged to have found pot and various items of drug paraphernalia during the execution of a search warrant in late March. Ibe, Mortenson, and Cain each face up to 3 and a half years in prison if convicted. All three make initial court appearances on June 14th.
