Three area residents are facing felony drunk driving charges in separate cases in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 47 year old Tina L. Bueschel of Weyauwega made her initial appearance in court Monday on a 6th OWI. She was arrested Friday in the Town of Waupaca, allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .281 percent. Bueschel has 5 prior drunk driving convictions, dating back to 1994. She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Bueschel was released after posting a 2000 dollar cash bond. She is due back in court on the 15th.
48 year old Andrew J. Berger of Pine River is free after posting a 1000 dollar cash bond. Berger is charged with 4th offense OWI, after the criminal complaint says he was found asleep at the wheel on a ramp to U.S. Hiway 10 in the Town of Fremont Sunday. Berger has three prior drunk driving convictions, dating back to 1995. He faces up to 6 years in prison if convicted, and is due back in court next Tuesday.
And 41 year old Scott T. Secard of Manawa is charged with 4th offense OWI. Secard was stopped by authorities in the Town of Mukwa Friday, allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .169 percent. He has three prior drunk driving convictions, dating back to 1998. Secard also faces up to 6 years in prison if convcited, and is due back in court May 15th.
