The identity of the man killed in a weekend traffic accident in the Town of Dayton is still under investigation due to significant burns suffered in the crash and fire. Waupaca County Sheriff’s officials this morning said they don’t know when a positive identification will take place, because the coroner’s office will likely need dental records to make a positive I-D. The body of the man was badly burned following the crash on State Hiway 22 just north of Rural Road just after 2:30 Saturday morning. The man’s southbound pick-up crashed into a northbound semi. The semi driver was not hurt. Six people have now died in Waupaca County traffic accidents this year, compared to five all of last year.
