A Waupaca woman is free on a 2000 dollar signature bond following multiple charges in Waupaca County Court. 41 year old Bobbie R. Trindal faces felony counts of battery to a law enforcement officer and 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property, resisting, and disorderly conduct. The complaint says Waupaca police were called to an area near Oborn Street Sunday afternoon after Trindal allegedly punched a man in the face, and then left on foot. When police approached her, she allegedly punched an officer in the face, and allowed her pitbull to jump at the officer. She also allegedly attempted to headbutt two officers as they attempted to get her under control. The complaint says they officers had to use leg shackles to gain control. If convicted, Trindal could face up to 16 years in prison. She is due back in court on the 22nd.
