Two Waupaca area residents are facing multiple drug charges following the execution of a drug warrant in the Town of Dayton last Wednesday. 39 year old Mamie A. Nero is being held on a 50-thousand dollar cash bond. Nero faces 10 counts in all, including delivery of heroin, delivery of amphetamines, delivery of schedule 2 and schedule 4 narcotics, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. 43 year old Ryan W. Thompson is charged with delivery of marijuana, delivery of psycho-silic drugs, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of a firearm silencer. Thompson is free after posting a 25-hundred dollar cash bond. The complaint alleges Nero and Thompson sold drugs to a police confidential informant on multiple occasions between July and this month from their Town of Dayton residence. Nero faces over 60 years in prison if convicted, while Thompson could face up to 25 years. Both are due back in court on the 30th.
