Two area residents will spend time in the county jail following sentencing hearings on probation revocations. 19 year old Damien E. Jones of Clintonville was ordered to serve 5 months behind bars. Jones was convicted of possession of narcotic drugs in 2015, and placed on two years probation. Court records indicate he failed to abide by conditions of his probation, and was sent to jail.
Meanwhile, 30 year old Ashley L. Fletcher of Waupaca was ordered to serve 360 days in jail on a probation revocation. Fletcher was originally convicted on multiple counts in 2016, including battery and bail jumping, and was also placed on two years probation. Court records indicate she failed to abide by rules of her probation, and was given the jail time. Fletcher was given credit for 85 days already served.
