Two men are being held in the Waupaca County jail on 5000 dollars cash bond each following drug charges in Waupaca County Court. 33 year old Carl J. Breneman of rural Oshkosh faces counts of possession of methamphetamine– 2nd offense, carrying a concealed knife–as a repeat offender, and drug paraphernalia. 30 year old Darrin T. Young of New London faces counts of 2nd offense meth possession and drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint says Breneman and Young were in a vehicle pulled over by police in Manawa Sunday. Young was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Officers allegedly found 178 gem bags of meth in the trunk of the vehicle. They also allegedly found a 10 to 12 inch knife concealed in Breneman’s waistband. If convicted, both men could face over 3 years in prison. Both are due back in court next Tuesday.
