Two area men are facing alcohol-related crimes in separate cases in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 50 year old Brian J. Ramminger of Manawa is charged with operating while intoxicated– 4th offense. The criminal complaint says he was stopped in Manawa Friday night for driving without a valid driver’s license. A preliminary breath test allegedly showed a blood-alcohol concentration of .177 percent. If convicted, Ramminger could face up to 6 years behind bars. He is being held on a 500 dollar cash bond, and is due back in court this afternoon.
41 year old Scott T. Secard, also of Manawa, is charged with felony bail jumping in Waupaca County Court. Secard in late April was charged with felony drunk driving and was placed on the Soberlink Monitoring System as part of his bond. The new complaint alleges he tested positive for alcohol use on Saturday. If convicted Secard could face up to 6 years in prison. He is free after posting a 1000 dollar cash bond, and is also due back in court today.
