Two new felony drunk driving cases have been filed in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 52 year old Laurie A. Izzo of New London faces a 4th OWI after her arrest Monday in the Town of Mukwa. The criminal complaint alleges she was driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .163 percent. Izzo has three prior drunk driving convictions dating back to 2000. On the new charge, she could face up to 6 years in prison if convicted. She was ordered held on a 500 dollar cash bond, and adherence to the Soberlink Monitoring Program. Izzo is due back in court December 12th.
31 year old Fawn D. Giesen of New London also is charged with 4th offense operating while intoxicated. The complaint alleges Giesen was found in May passed out behind the wheel of her running vehicle in New London. The complaint alleges her blood-alcohol concentration was .210 percent. Giesen also faces up to 6 years in prison if convicted. Her initial court appearance is December 18th.
