A Marion teenager is being held on 100-thousand dollars cash bond following multiple felony charges in Waupaca County Court. 16 year old Kevin M. Herzog was waived into adult court this week, and is facing charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide, attempted first degree homicide of an unborn child, strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, and intimidating a victim. Marion Police say they were called Tuesday afternoon, after a 17 year old pregnant woman escaped from a residence where Herzog was allegedly holding her against her will. Police Chief Kevin Schultz says the two had argued, and Herzog strangled the woman, and punched her in the stomach. He also allegedly took her shoes so she could not flee, and took her phone to prevent her from contacting anyone. The woman was eventually able to escape and ran to a relative’s residence. Herzog faces over 60 years in prison if convicted. He is due back in court January 21st.
