A former employee of the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King is facing multiple charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court for allegedly stealing medications. 41 year old Alicia R. Krisher-Behm of Ogdensburg faces felony counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraud, and theft, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of illegally obtained prescriptions, and possession of controlled substances. The complaint alleges Krisher-Behm in January took drugs such as oxycodone and liquid morphine for her personnal use, after reporting it was for patient use. She also allegedly took medication from a patient during a transfer from another nursing home. The complaint says a drug task force served a search warrant on her Ogdensburg home later in January, allegedly turning up several types of prescription medications. If convicted, Krisher-Behm could face up to 12 years in prison. She is due in court next Tuesday.
