A $2,500 signature bond is set for a Waupaca man on a felony drug charge in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court. According to the criminal complaint, 23-year-old Tavin S. Matenaer is accused of delivering a prescription drug as a party to a crime. The complaint alleges an informant, at the direction of law enforcement officers, Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, and Waushara Co. Sheriff’s Office, had contact with 21-year-old Erika Timm wherein a transaction was made to purchase Suboxone from both Timm and Matenaer. Two Suboxone strips were arranged to be purchased at Hardee’s in Waupaca last Sunday. If convicted, Matenaer faces up to six years in prison. He makes his initial court appearance on July 10th. Meanwhile, a $1,500 cash bond is set for Timm as she faces multiple felony counts of bail jumping, manufacture and delivery of prescription drugs as a party to a crime, and a felony count of possession of Methamphetamine. If convicted on all 12 felony counts, Timm could face up to 69 and a half years in prison. Timm is due back in court on Tuesday.
