A change for the Waupaca School District—- Originally Waupaca was planning to have students come to school Tuesday for instruction from teachers on how learning would be expected during the upcoming closure. Sunday, after hearing concerns from parents and staff, the district decided the potential risks outweigh the benefits, so no students will be allowed inside the school buildings until at least April 6th. The district is working on setting up on-line learning schedules, and staff will have “virtual” office hours posted, along with learning expectations for the various grade levels. Teachers are also preparing learning packets that will be available for pick-up starting on Wednesday. More information on that will be posted by the district on its website.
