A Waupaca woman is jailed on a 5000 dollar cash bond after authorities say she received a package of methamphetamine in the mail. 40 year old Desiree W. Gunter is charged with possession of amphetamine with intent to deliver, a felony charge that carries maximum punishment of up to 40 years in prison. The complaint says postal inspectors identified the package, from southern California, as suspicious. When Gunter arrived to pick it up, police got her permission to open it, and allegedly found 250 grams of meth, which has an estimated street value of 25-thousand dollars. Gunter makes her next court appearance next Tuesday.
