Two people from Clintonville made their initial appearance in Waupaca Co. Circuit Court on felony burglary charges. Thirty-five-year-old Danny S. Wedde and 33-year-old Shannon L. Perkins each face one count of felony Burglary of a Building or Dwelling from an incident on January 13th in the Town of Bear Creek. The complaint alleges Wedde used bolt cutters belonging to 23-year-old Damien R. Fette of New London to cut the locking mechanism of the storage locker of Perkins’ mother, Cathy Sexton. Sexton stated her storage unit had been broken into and silver bars were stolen. She suspected Wedde and Perkins of the burglary. According to the criminal complaint, Wedde, Perkins, and Fette were together in the robbery. Wedde admitted to pawning the silver bars in Shawano. Perkins and Fette were also with Wedde when the silver bars were pawned. Perkins is currently on felony bail in Waupaca Co. for Possession of Methamphetamine. Fette is currently charged with felony Possession of Narcotics in Waupaca Co. A $2,000 signature bond is set for Wedde and Perkins. If convicted, each could face up to 12-1/2 years in prison. Perkins is due back in court on February 11th. Wedde is due back in court on February 18th. And Fette will make his initial appearance on February 18th.
