Weyauwega police received a call from a woman feeling threatened by her son in her own home. The July 22nd complaint alleges after officers were given consent to search her home, her son 24-year-old Aaron P Mankowski had several controlled substances throughout the house as well as marijuana plants growing in the basement. Mankowski is charged with several felony counts of drug possession with intent to deliver as well as two counts of theft. Each count carries a possible fine of up to 10,000 dollars and 6 years of prison, plus a five-year add-on since one of counts occurred near a school. Mankowski posted 1,000 dollar bail and was ordered to stay away from his mother’s residence. Next court appearance is yet to be scheduled.
